Budgeting couldn’t be harder!

Tons of features and a million man-hours of work produced a tool that makes budgeting as difficult as I could imagine.

It automatically markes scheduled expenses as “Completed” when the scheduled date comes around, and for the life of me, I cannot see how to change a completed item to pending.

That feature alone makes my bill-paying time a pain in the butt. The best thing about this application is the companion iOS application. The bucket-filling system is awkward.

Sadly, since Quicken refuses to do a iOS companion application, (Don’t say Mint is. It is a companion to a web application, not to Qucken Mac), Moneywell is still the only choice. I just hate the budgeting tool. It is still a decent check register, except for the “Completed” lies it tells!
